KRIMT Agritech Private Limited operates the KRIMT platform — including our website, mobile application, and related services — that connects farmers directly to business buyers across India.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data. It applies to all users of the KRIMT platform, including registered farmers, verified business buyers, and visitors to our website.

By using the KRIMT platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect information you provide directly to us when you register for an account, complete your profile, list produce, place orders, or contact our support team.

For farmers, this includes: full name, mobile number, Aadhaar number (for KYC verification), bank account details (for payment processing), farm location and land records, crop types and harvest volumes, and profile photographs.

For business buyers, this includes: business name and registration number, GST number, authorised contact name and mobile number, business address, procurement requirements, and payment and invoicing details.

We also collect information automatically when you use our platform, including: device identifiers, IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on pages, and app usage patterns. This data is collected via cookies, log files, and similar tracking technologies.

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the KRIMT platform. Specifically, we use your data to: verify your identity and eligibility to use the platform; facilitate transactions between farmers and buyers; process payments and disburse earnings to farmers; provide AI-powered pricing, demand forecasting, and crop advisory services; send transactional notifications (order confirmations, payment receipts, delivery updates); and respond to your support queries.

We may also use aggregated, anonymised data to improve our AI models, generate market insights, and publish industry reports. This data does not identify individual users.

We will not use your personal information for purposes other than those described in this policy without your explicit consent.

KRIMT does not sell your personal information to third parties. We share your data only in the following circumstances:

With transaction counterparties: When a farmer lists produce and a buyer places an order, limited contact and logistics information is shared between the parties to fulfil the transaction.

With service providers: We work with third-party vendors for payment processing (Razorpay), cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services), SMS and notification delivery, and logistics coordination. These vendors are contractually bound to process your data only as instructed by KRIMT.

For legal compliance: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of KRIMT, our users, or the public.

In a business transfer: If KRIMT is acquired, merged, or undergoes a restructuring, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Transaction records, including payment histories and order data, are retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with Indian financial regulations.

We take the security of your personal information seriously. KRIMT uses 256-bit AES encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised KRIMT personnel on a need-to-know basis.

We conduct regular security audits and penetration tests. Our infrastructure is hosted on AWS with multi-region redundancy and 99.9% uptime SLAs.

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your KRIMT account and to contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access.

Under applicable Indian data protection law, you have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

Right to access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time.

Right to correction: You may request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

Right to deletion: You may request that we delete your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations.

Right to data portability: You may request that we provide your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Right to withdraw consent: Where we process your data based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience on the KRIMT website and app. Cookies help us remember your preferences, understand how you use our platform, and deliver relevant content.

We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising.

The KRIMT platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly.
